Verdant Stripes

Here is my latest venture with colors.

Now I am sort of comfortable with knitting. I just love complimenting the knitted blankets with some pretty crocheted border. The colors for this blanket are really refreshing. I first thought the brighter green are too bright but they actually bring out the pastels beautifully.

This is the same pattern I used for the Midnight Hues blanket . The edging however is a picot border.

Materials:

Caron simply soft yarn

colors – Victorian rose, Sunshine, Soft Green, Sage, Kelly Green, Cool Green.

Knitting Needle- circular US8

Crochet Hook H size

Finished dimensions: 28”X36”

Edging: one round of Single crochet with sunshine followed by 3 ch picot stitch and 7 single crochets.
