Solid square blanket no. 5

Hello beautiful people,

I had a busy week and have been working on multiple projects the past couple weeks. A custom order for the pixel blanket that I last worked on came by and I couldn’t wait to get started on it. I kept everything aside to work on that. and it has come together beautifully. I really hope she likes it.

For this blanket I used three shades of blue, two shades of grey, and white. I am not a random color arrangement person so I used Word to come up with the placement of colors just like the last blanket and got to work. The pattern and joining technique (join as you go) for this blanket is the same as the last pixel blanket (Solid Squares No. 4).

Knitted chevron blanket No. 3

Hello fellow crafters,

Hope you had a great relaxing but productive long weekend. I have been trying to get my custom order sent out. This blanket was so much fun to make especially because the colors turned out to be very pretty. I used random stripe generator to create this stripe pattern. Have I already told you about how much I love this site by biscuits and jam?

I have used this pattern twice before, in shades of pink and shades of yellow.

Sunburst baby blanket No. 2

Hello fellow crocheters,

IMG_1451

Here is my second sunburst granny squares. I really loved the colors and wanted to use them together.

This is my second blanket in this pattern. You can look at the first one in pink and teals here. The original pattern for this blanket is available for free here.  Last time I just the join as you go method but this time I went for the classic seamless join by attic 24. I really preferred the join-as-you-go because it saves so many ends to join in. But initially I wasn’t sure how many squares I was going to put together. So this method worked really well for me.

It is so much fun to try new colors for edging. As her nursery has a nautical theme, we decided to have a turquoise trim. I hope she likes it.

Fall Beauty! Can’t get enough of Chevron!

Here is the new blanket I promised to make in fall colors. I really can’t seem to get enough of the chevron pattern. It works up so quickly and gives a really nice gradient look. These colors are something I have been trying to put together for a while now. Finally stumbled onto Mango (caron simply soft) which was the perfect component in this gradient, with an awesome contrast of grey. Made these beautiful Fall colors come together.
